Ethnic Discrimination in Employment Conference - 22 and 23 November, Paris.

Discrimination experienced by ethnic minorities in the labour market remains an everyday, recurring reality in the European Union, despite the increasing effectiveness of initiatives to fight it. For this reason, as part of the European Year of Equal Opportunities (2007) for All and with the support of the European Commission (European Social Fund - Equal), the French Ministry for the Economy, Finance and Employment, in partnership with the German Ministry of Labour and Swedish ESF Council, is establishing a European platform open to all Member States, to better interconnect political and field initiatives. EASI will attend the final event of the European Platform for Overcoming Ethnic Discrimination in Employment on 22-23 November 2007 in Paris.
